南京栖霞山栖霞组遗迹化石的指相意义

FACIES OF TRACE FOSSILS IN QIXIA FORMATION IN QIXIASHAN,NANJING

本文详细研究了栖霞山地区栖霞组地层中所产的遗迹化石,结合其它沉积构造特征,分析了该组地层的沉积环境和沉积相。证明了遗迹化石具有重要的指相意义。

The paper has described the characteristics and distribution of two kinds and one species of trace fossils in Qixia formation,Nanjing area.It has been confirmed that the trace fossils in Qixia formation is very significant in facies—determination.The form of trace fossils is closely related to the factors which controls the sedimentary facies such as lithologic charater,sedimentary structure,water dynam- ic condition and paleoecological character.A certain kind or species of trace fossil can reflect a certain sedimentary environment.
