摘要
阐述了在模具加工中实现高速加工所必需的一些关键技术 ,及高速加工技术在模具制造中的意义 ,并通过与常规的加工方式EDM的对比 ,描述了高速加工的优越性和局限性。同时以加工实例说明高速切削是现代模具加工的发展方向之一。
This paper introduces some key technologies for realization of high speed machining(HSM) and the significance of HSM in mould making. The advantages and limits of HSM are described by comparison between EDM and HSM. A practical machining of injection mould cavity is taken as an example to show that HSM is one of developing trends in modern mould making.
