It is very convenient to measure the tooth thickness of wormwheel indivectlywith methed over balls in production,but this way isn(?)t offen applied to the practiceowing to the difficulty and fault of calculating.this paper presents a new accurateand reliable algorthm for measuring over balls on the wormwheel of every linearworm gears such as ZA,ZN and ZI by the rigorous deduction of mathematics.
