南京市1996～2000年5岁以下儿童溺水死亡分析

Analysis on Drowning among Children under 5 Years in Nanjing during 1996～2000

为掌握南京市５岁以下儿童溺水死亡现状及特点，对南京市１５个区县所有５岁以下儿童死亡监测中有关溺水死亡的情况进行分析。结果显示，溺水死亡占５岁以下儿童意外死亡的３７．６％－４９．５％，其中农村溺水死亡率明显高于城区；儿童溺水死亡占总溺水死亡的８０．８％；男童多于女童，夏秋季多见。６４．７％的儿童死于家中，６０．２％的儿童死前未得到救治。儿童溺水死亡是意外死亡的第一位原因，多发生在１～３岁的幼儿。

To understand the features of drowning among children under 5 years in Nanjing, the study was conducted on the drowning of all chil- dren under 5 years in Nanjing during 1996-2000.Result was shown that drown mortality was 37.6% -49.5% in all accidental death under 5 years children,While 80% of all drown were children, it also indicated that drowning was the first classified cause of accidental death for the children under 5 years in Nanjing, and drowning rate in rural area was higher than that of city obviously.The drowning moat occurred in children aged 1-3 years in summer and autumn, and male children were more than female children.60.2% of the cases bad not been rescued before death.
