大面积阻抗板探测器的研制及性能测量 被引量:5

Construction and Performance Test of a Large Area RPC Module

摘要 使用中国材料研制了大面积阻抗板探测器 (RPC) ,利用宇宙射线测量了效率曲线以及时间分辨率 ,讨论了大面积RPC的均匀性问题 .结果表明 ,该RPC效率接近 1 0 0 % ,时间分辨率约 2ns。 A double gap Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) made of Chinese materials is constructed and tested with cosmic ray. The detection efficiency is close to 100% and the time resolution is around 2ns. The variation of detection efficiency curves and time resolutions in different positions are also given. The results show that its performance can meet the requirement of general particle physics experiment.
