Tianjin and the West Region Development

天津作为我国北方最大的沿海城市,应该将参与、支持、服务于西部大开发作为其实现经济社会可持续发展的重要战略选择。为此,我们既要考虑西部地区之所需,更应注重发挥天津优势,在共同开发中实现优势互补,相互促进,在共同发展中实现经济跨越。

As the largest coastal city in Northern China,Tianjin should be involved in,support and serve for the Grand West Development.Also this is Tianjin's own important strategic choice in order to realize the sustainable development both in the economy and the society.Therefore,we should consider the need of West Region and,more importantly,make good use of the advantages of Tianjin.Both Tianjin and the West Region should trade in their own comparative advantages,help and benefit each other to achieve the economic leap development through mutual cooperation.
