Power politics is a toadstool left in the Middle East by feudal empires, colonialists and hegemonists. It has affected the normal development of the international relationship in the Middle East over a long period of time. The article briefly analyses the influences of power politics on the core problem in the Middle East—Palestinian Problem, and points out that power politics is still playing a role in the Middle East peace process at the present. To have an objective understanding of the influences of power politics on Palestine-Israel peace negotiation can help to promote the Middle East peace process and the healthy development of international relationship among the Middle Eastern countries.
