普通话在广东:语用、语言能力与语言声望的背离及初步的解释

Putonghua in Guangdong:a preliminary explanation of the discrepancies between linguistic performance,linguistic competence and linguistic prestige

改革开放后 ,广东地区的普通话有了较大的变化 ,一方面是本地的普通话语言能力提高、普通话语用增加 ;一方面是普通话的声望比以前下降。本文从语言、人、社会结合的视点 ,对这种背离进行了描述与讨论 ,指出 :(1)外来人口尤其是深入各地的外来工使普通话渐次通行 ;(2 )普通话语言者主体转为外来工 ,也使普通话的声望趋于降低 ,这是转移评价的结果。

Since the beginning of the Reform and Open\|door policy great changes have taken place with the Putonghua in Guangdong province:the liguistic competence is heightened and its perform\|ance increased on the one hand and the prestige has been lowered on the other.This article discusses such discrepancies from the angles of language,men and social combination,pointing out that it is the result of diverted evaluation.
