本文从象征手法的视角对莎士比亚作品《威尼斯商人》中的人物象征、背景象征和物体象征进行探讨。结论是 ,它们在刻划人物真实、丰富性方面、在表达和深化作品主题。
The paper studies the symbols of characters and scenes and objects in Shakespeare's play The Merchant of Venice. It draws the conclusion that all these symbols are of great significance in the vivid portrayal of the play's characters, the deepening of the theme,the strengthening of the well-knit structure and the artistic conception.
