摘要
医学英语是科技英语的一个分支。翻译医学英语文献不但要求准确、流畅，更要求符合医学论著的科学性和严肃性。鉴于英汉两种语言在语序、语态、用词、结构等诸方面存在差异，因而翻译时要求作适当的变动和调整，如：对不具有医学专业含义的普通词加以引申，把关系复杂的长句拆为简单易懂，层次分明的多个短句，对语序作适当调整等，使译文准确，流畅，这样才能对原文传神达意。
Medical English is a branch of scientific and technological English. Translation of medical English not only needs to be precise, easy and smooth, but also should conform to medical science. Since there are a lot of differences between English and Chinese such as word order, Voice,form of sentence, vocabulary, some of these need to be changed in translating. For instance,some common words which have no medical meaning need to be extended to conform to the ex pression of medical science; the long and complicated sentences need to be broken into several short and simple sentences that are easy to understand and the word order needs to be rearranged.Only by this can the translation exactly express the meaning of English literature.
