Decrease in the number and weakness of the criticisms of text are the causes that cannot be neglected, besides outer factors such as background characteristic of times, social environment, and inter factors such as language forms, feeling tendencies. Seen from the current situation of criticism, modern poetry is calling for the strengthening of the criticism of text; seen from the present situation of acceptance from readers, they are calling for the criticism of text; seen from the practices of criticisms, the criticism of text of modern poetry has the unchangeable advantage. So developing and flourishing the criticism of text have significance in theory and in reality.
