塞尚是法国十九世纪下半叶现代主义绘画艺术大师。他赞赏普桑“在自然的基础上全部重来”的理论，创立了现代主义的绘画模式，提倡用色彩表现透视，用抽象的几何图形构成画面，从而取代了焦点透视的地位。

Paul Cezanne was a modernist French artist in the late 19th century. He proposed'complete return to naturea',created modernist style of painting,advocated to express perspective with colours,and formed the general appearance of a picture with abstract geometric figures and replaced focal perspective.
