从东西方文化差异看词义的差异及教学

The Differences of Words and Teaching Vocabulary from the Viewpoint of Cultural Difference

语言是文化的一部分 ,在文化对语言的影响中 ,文化对词汇的影响最大 ,最明显。本文对英语和汉语的一些词的词义从文化差异的角度进行比较和分析 ,以期有助于学生词汇能力和跨文化交际能力的提高。

From the viewpoint of linguistics and intercultural communication,this paper makes an attempt to explore differences of words in referent meaning,connotative meaning,cultural associations,and lexical gap for the purpose of improving students' competence to use words and to communicate.
