Rethinking of DENG Xiao-ping's Philosophy

哲学史上有两类哲学和两种哲学家。邓小平哲学属于“应用哲学” ,邓小平是“照辩证法办事”的楷模 ,谌称应用哲学家、实践哲学家。邓小平哲学与毛泽东哲学是同属毛泽东哲学思想体系的两个不同发展阶段。邓小平对马克思主义哲学的主要贡献 :一方面是运用马克思主义哲学于改革开放和社会主义现代化建设实践 ,丰富和发展了马克思主义哲学的某些理论观点 ;更重要、更新颖的是在应用哲学方面创建了在经济文化落后的国家如何建设社会主义的“发展哲学”。

Philosophy falls into two categories: applied philosophy and developed philosophy. There are also two kinds of philosophers. DENG Xiao ping was an applied philosopher or practical philosopher as he was a dialectical model. DENG Xiao-ping's Philosophy and MAO Ze dong's Philosophy belong to two different phases under MAO Ze dong′s Philosophical Thoughts. The remarkable contributions that DENG Xiao ping made to Marxist Philosophy are:(1) He applied Marxist Philosophy to China's reform and opening as well as the practice of socialist construction;(2) He created 'developed philosophy' in the sense that he used Marxist Philosophy to build socialism in economically and culturally poor countries.
