Strengthening the Study on Non-linguistic Figures of Speech, Constructing a Complete Rhetorical System

长期以来 ,汉语修辞学体系基本上是语言要素修辞一统天下。实际上非语言要素不仅可以构成一般性修辞 ,而且可以构成修辞格。非语言要素修辞理应成为汉语修辞学体系中的重要内容 ,汉语修辞学体系的基本框架应包括语言要素修辞和非语言要素修辞两大部分。

The Chinese rhetorical system constructed merely by linguistic components has been the mainstream for long. In view of this situation, the author points out that non-linguistic factors can form not only general figurative languages but also figures of speech.Thus, non-linguistic elements can reasonably become important contents of the Chinese rhetorical system. Meanwhile, the author outlines the framework of the Chinese rhetorical system including both linguistic and non-linguistic factors.
