The Movement of Indigenization of Social Psychology in China: A Cultural Investigation

本文扼要分析了当代西方社会心理学的文化价值偏差和跨文化社会心理学的缺陷，并从社会心理的文化特性出发，指出在大陆、台湾、香港兴起的社会心理学本土化运动，其深层原因乃是在社会变迁的大环境下基于中国文化独特性的选择。

This paper briefly analyses the biases of cultural value in contemporary western social psychology and the disadvantages of cross cultural social psychology. From the cultural characteristics of social mentality, the author points out that the deepest cause of the movement of indigenization of social psychology, which takes place in the Chinese society of the mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong, is the choice based on the uniqueness of the Chinese culture in the background of social transition.
