浅析亨廷顿的“文明冲突论”

美国学者亨廷顿关于冷战后国际政治将由宗教和信仰的不同而导致的冲突即“文明的冲突”来主宰的观点是站不住脚的。首先 ,他将文明之间矛盾视为国际政治基本矛盾是错误的 ;其次 ,他关于文明间互动趋向冲突的观点也是错误的。实践上其理论不能解释当前国际现实 ,其实质是部分美国人霸权思想的反映 ,文明的发展方向是趋同和兼容。

The viewpoint held by the American scholar Huntington that international politics after the cold war will be dominated by the conflict of civilization, which is due to the different religion and belief, is not tenable.First of all, it is wrong to take the contradiction among civilizations as the fundamental one of the international politics. Secondly, the point that mutual move among them tends to conflict is also wrong.Practically, the theory can't explain the present international reality and it reflects on some of the Americans' hegemony in essence. The way of development tends to unite and be compatible.
