摘要
七十年代初以来,外语教学中的交际法已经产生了很大影响。它使我们强烈地意识到,只是教会学生如何掌握好外语的词语和结构是不够的,还必须发展学生在实际环境中运用这些词语和语法结构进行有效和恰当的信息交流的能力。因此,一个外语教师应当把培养学生的交际能力作为外语教学的目标。应当怎样才能达到这一目标呢?提出下述问题进行讨论窃以为是很重要的:外语学员要成为一个称职的外语人才究竟必备什么?教师对外语教学的实质应如何考虑?本文打算对这些问题谈谈我的看法。
This paper emphasizes the point that a foreign language teacher's main concern should be to develop the abilities of his students to use the language they are learning for the purpose of communication .While teaching learners the structures of the foreign language,a teacher should link linguistic forms with functional and social meanings so that the foreign language learners might communicate their intended message effectively and appropriately in concrete situations.
