This paper introduces the accomplishments in the study of The Book of Songs, Songs of Chu, which are achieved by Professor Ishikawa, a well-known sinologist from Japan. It cites a lot of facts to explain the professor' s academic methods of applying culture-anthropology to literature investigation. This article attempts to gain for Chinese scholars some useful references from the professor's achievements and methods.
