Ernest Hemingway and Bakelannuofu, the two writers lived in different eras and different social systems. They both wrote some winning universal praise novels on wars. This article tries to compare their similarities and differences about their experience during the wars, creative ideas and expression techniques,and to discuss the reason of the form of their writing characteristics and the time spirit in their works.
