哈代的成名作《远离尘嚣》 ,在作者的悲剧思想和爱情婚姻观发展历程中具有承前启后的作用 。

When studying Hardy's works,literary critics in our country tend to focus on his later masterpieces,while neglect his first masterpiece Far From the Madding Crowd. In my opinion,such practice does harm to scientific,overall and dynamic study of his works and thought.This thesis manages to prove the propping position of his first masterpiece in the aspects of the development of his tragic ideas,his outlook on marriage and his writing tecniques.
