总结了北仑地区十年来社会治安综合治理的基本经验，提出今后社会治安综合治理应该从维护社会政治稳定、加强“严打”整治斗争、强化基层基础工作、讲求实效与开拓创新并重、加强组织领导等五个方面继续努力．

The paper summarizes the work experience of the 10-year comprehensive handling of public security in Beilun. It proposes five aspects of continuing work for the public security. They are: to protect political stability, to strictly control the evil, to strengthen grass-roots work,to promote creativity and to strengthen organization work.
