Sima Qian’s Tragic Consciousness

司马迁《史记》的创作完成标志着我国历史上较为完整的悲剧意识的正式产生。从整体看 ,这种悲剧意识既包含了丰富的内容 ,又带有鲜明的个性特征 ,而且在其产生的过程中曾有传统士风、自身遭遇及时代精神等多种因素发挥过作用。

The accomplishment of Records of Histroian by Sima Qian marks in our history the formal emergence of completed Tragic Consciousness, which contains both rich content and distinctive individual characteristics. A few factors such as traditional intellectual values, life experiences and the spirit of the times were involved in the emergence of Sima Qian's tragic consciousness. The stated aspects above will be discussed in this thesis.
