１６世纪中叶，西欧国家和中国社会差不多同时出现资本主义萌芽，但由于各自助力和阻力大不一样，西欧国家逐步走上资本主义的道路；后来英国发动了侵略中国的鸦片战争，扭曲了中国近代史的进程。
In the mid 16th century, the seeds of capitalism sprouted in western European countries and China at about the same time. But because of their different aids and obstructions, the western European countries gradually moved towards capitalism, while China, after Britain launched the Opium Wars invading itwhich twisted the course of Chinese modern history, moved into a semi colonial and semi feudal society.
