马克·吐温的两部儿童小说《汤姆·索亚历险记》和《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》长期以来一直深受广大读者的欢迎。美国学生甚至将这两部小说视为必读。本文扼要论述了这两部小说的内容 ,对比了两文主人翁的性格及其象征意义的相同点与不同点 ,以帮助人们更好地阅读和理解 。
The Adventure of Tom sawyer and the Adrenture of Huckleberry finn,two children's books of Mark Twin,have been popular for ages.American students even consider them as obligatory novels.The writer of this essay briefly introduces the main ideas of them,compares the symbolic meanings of each book's hero-Tom and Huckleberry and discusses the similarities and differences betwen the two heroes' characters to help readers understand the two novels mere theoroahly and realizes the poor lipe of the common people and misery of black slaves before American Civil War.
