From programming viewpoint this paper introduces a distributed- parallel processing model,then,based on it,analyses in detail the features and paradigms of parallel algorithms running on multitransputer systems. Meanwhile,it briefly introduces occam Software development environments, folded edit method and programming technoloqy with the occam,Finally.some predictions on further developments of occam are also givea on it's last part.
