On the Development of the Intermediary of Human Understanding of the World in Western Philosophy

西方哲学围绕“人如何理解和把握世界”问题而形成了三种哲学致思模式 :本原中介模式、理性中介模式和语言中介模式。这三种模式均遭到失败的原因在于 ,没有认识到人不是借助于某种独立于人的外在中介而是通过人自身的实践来实现对世界的理解和把握的。

This paper discusses the three thinking models about the question “how to understand the world” in western philosophy, i.e. ontology-intermediary model, rationality-intermediary model and language-intermediary model. This paper points out that these models all failed to resolve the question because they do not recognize that human does not depend on any intermediary but human's practice to understand the world.
