As a completely style of history fiction,The New Edition of Stories stands among the history fictions with conspicuous artistic charm.It is the symbol of the founding and maturity of modern history fiction and the monumental work of modern history fiction.This thesis studies The Eew Edition of Stories's reform on traditional history fiction,its conspicuousness in 1920s and 1930s history fictions,and 1940s history fiction's inheritance and variation of it.Thus,the thesis inquires into The New Edition of Stories's on thought and art,and summarize the modern history fiction of China.
