墨子的科学技术教育思想在中国古代教育史上独树一帜。他关于几何学的点、线、面、圆、体的论述比欧基米德要早近三百年 ,他提出的力学原理比牛顿力学三定律要早整整二千年 ,他是世界上第一个讲述光沿线传导原理的人 ,他倡导科学技术应成为造福于民的工具。

Mo Di′s educational thought of science and technology developed a school of his own in Chinese ancient educational history.His brilliant expositions of point, line, surface, circle and body of geometry were three hundred years earlier than Archimede′s.His fundamentals of mechanics were fully two thousand years earlier than Newton′s.In the world he is the first man who finds that the conduction of light is by means of straight line.He initiates that science and technology must be the tools of bringing benefit to mankind.
