摘要
以英语语言为例 ,阐述了两性使用语言时在语调、语法形式和用词以及交际风格方面存在的差异 ,同时也探讨了英语中出现的性别歧视现象 ,从社会语言学和语用学的角度分析了产生这些差异和歧视的根源 ,指出它们与两性在社会中的地位、作用不同及社会。
Some gender distinctions and bias in English language, with a special focus on d ifference in their speech, conversational styles as well as English words and ex pressions exhibiting bias against women were discussed. An explanation to the ro ots of the language phenomena in English language is also given.
