Environmental Work in the Development of China's Western Regions

本文通过比较生态文明与工业文明 ,阐述了生态文明的内涵和特征。指出生态文明的建设是进行西部大开发的前提 ,有着重要意义 ;并对西部大开发具有的优势和存在的问题作了说明 ,最后就西部大开发中如何建设生态文明 ,搞好环境保护提出了几点措施。

Through a Comparison of ecology and industry,this article describes the implications and characteristies of ecology. It demonstraties that environmental work is the prerequisite for the development of China's west, having important significance-it can explain the existing problems and the advantages of the western regions. In the latter section of the article,how to go about such environmental work is discussed, and several measures pub forward for environmental conservation.
