Dynamic Background Updating Method for Real-Time Tracking in Visual Surveillance

实时跟踪是视觉监视系统的核心技术之一,背景更新方法是实时跟踪技术成功与否的关键所在。该文在介绍了各种现有方法的基础上,提出了一种新的动态背景更新方法,实验表明这是一种对光线变化鲁棒性高、速度快、跟踪效果好的实用方法。

Real-time tracking is one of the key technologies in visual surveillance system,of which background updating model is crucial to its success.In this paper we develop a new dynamic background updating method based on the researches of existing methods.Experiments show that it is a practical method that is robust under lighting variations,fast in speed,satisfactory in tracking performance.
