摘要
本文用薄金属套管对光纤光栅进行了封装 ,并利用其进行了光纤布喇格光栅的电调谐实验 .这种调谐方法保持了光纤光栅体积小的优点 ,操作简便 ,可远距离实现 ,光纤光栅的波长变化与电流的平方或电功率成正比 .实验中用 3.2 A的电流获得了 3nm的波长调谐 ,调谐速率约为 0 .
Fiber Bragg grating coated by thin metal tube is demonstrated and electrically tuned.It relies on resistive heating caused by current flowing through the metal coating tube,and enables a tuning range of 3nm with an electrical power of 5.1W,corresponding to a tuning efficiency of approximately 0.59nm/W.This device keeps the inherent nature,small size,of fiber gratings,and can be operated easily over great distances.
