In this thesis,it makes a systematic exposition of the differences between the construction management specialty and the business administration specialty;it also elaborates the importance and necessary of this specialty's independence through the analysis of the construction management specialty's subject status,training objective and course' importance.It briefly introduces the offering circumstances of international construction management faculties or departments,and illustrates the reasons of paying attention to the construction management specialty for meeting the market's need and the urgency of its accelerating development.
