摘要
本文从植物标本室与植物学发展、植物资源开发及植物学知识传播三方面的关系论述了植物标本室的意义，首次提出了它的三项基本功能。即实体功能、信息功能和示范功能。
In tis paper, some significances of herbariorum have been discused by it had a analysis of the relationships between herbariorum and the development of Botany, the exploitation of plaant resources, the spread of Botanical knowledgies. There three basis functions of herbariorum have been proposed, entitical function, informed function and demonstrative function.
