The genetic similarity among the acceptor parent, donor parent and filial generations of nonsym- metrical crossing Lentinula edodes was analyzed with RAPD technigue. 47 DNA fragments were amplified by 20 random primers. And the dendrogram of genetic correlation was constructed on this basis. The result showed that the genetic characters of nonsymmetrical crossing filial generations were similar to that of the mononuclear accepter-parent with a genetic similarity index of about 85%, and that more genetic diversity exsisted between the nonsymmetrical crossing filial generation and the binuclear donor parent with a genetic similarity index of about 61%.
