90年代,世界经济区域化、集团化趋势将带来经济竞争的加剧,两岸和港澳的经济发展面临严峻的挑战。文章分析了“东亚经济圈”、“华人共同市场”的设想与可能性,提出两岸和港澳面对激烈的国际经济竞争要树立起“共识”,分别类型、逐步加强和推进各种形式的经济联系和经济合作,增强竞争能力,增进双方利益,促进两岸和港澳经济的更大发展。

The regional and bloc formations of world economy in 1990s will theighten economic competition and the economic development across the Strait, Hongkong and Macao faces great challenge. This article analyzes the possibility of 'Economic Sphere in Eastern Asia'and the envisages of 'Common Market of Chinese Descendents', and suggests 'a common idea' should be embraced by the two shores across the Strait, Hongkong and Macao to meet the strong international economic Competition, gradually strenghten and promote different types of economic links and cooperation, and thus, increasing their competitiveness of their products, their mutual benefits and farther development of their economies.
