Global Economic Changes in 1990s and China's Readjustment of Its Industrial Structure

90年代世界经济发展的总趋势为“多极化”、“集团化”和“国际化”。世界新技术革命为主因所引起的全球性产业结构调整,对中国的发展来说,既是大好的机遇,又是严峻的挑战。本文分析了我国的优势和产业结构的现状,提出产业结构调整应当采取倾斜与充实提高相结合的协调发展模式,即加强基础产业,调整加工业和第三产业,有重点地扶植高技术产业,实现产业结构的协调和合理发展。

This article forecasts in general the global economic trend of development, summing it up as 'multi-polarization' , 'Gathering in Blocs' and 'Internationalization'. It believes that the global readjustment of industrial structure induced chiefly by global revolution of new techniques is an excellent opportunity and a stern challenge as well for China'S economic de-velopment. It analyzes the advantages of our county and the present conditions of industrial structures, suggests that the industrial structural readjustment should be in a coordinated mode of inclination, replenishment and upgradation, i. e. to strenghhen infrastructure, the readjustment of manufacturing industries and the third industry, and selected replemishment of high-technique industries, with a view to realize coordinated and rational development of industrial structures.
