Foundamental mechanical properties of high performance thermoplastic composite

摘要 采用不易产生分子取向和能较好保持纤维平直度的模压成型法制备PES、PES -C、PEK -C基体试件和单向板试件 ,对其基本力学性能进行了测试与分析 ,并与环氧E - 5 1及其复合材料的基本力学性能进行了对比分析 ,同时通过扫描电镜对PES、PES -C、PEK -C单向板的 45°纵横向剪切断口进行了分析 ,为连续纤维增强高性能热塑性复合材料的应用提供实验数据和理论依据 。 PES, PES-C and PEK-C base and unidirectional test coupons were made by mould formation which does not cause molocular orientation but keep the flatness and straightness of fibres fairly well, and tests were run with these test coupons for their foundamental mechanical properties. The mechanical properties of high performance thermoplastic composite obtained through tests are then compared with those of epoxy E-51 and its composite while the 45° longitudinal and transverse shear fractures of PES, PES-C and PEK-C unidirectional slabs were examined by scanning electron microscope, thereby providing both experimental data and theoretical basis for application of continuous fibre reinforced high performance thermoplastic composite.
