从修辞学的范畴出发 ,明确指出汉英科技翻译中同样存在修辞问题 ,且直接影响着译文水准的高低。鉴于科技英语中的修辞主要属消极修辞 ,文章通过分析科技英语的文体特征和汉英语言系统的差异 ,强调汉英科技翻译在修辞上要做到语言规范客观 ;语句连贯严谨 ,简洁明晰 。

This thesis points out that Chinese\|English translation of scientific writings should also pay attention to its rhetorical aspect.Through the analysis of different features of Chinese and English,it puts stress on the objectivity,formalness,cohesin and conciseness of the translation.Moreover,combined with adequate examples in translation practice,it probes the techniques of Chinese\|English translation of scientific essays.\;
