Merits and deficiencies of the linear packing density model were estimated in details. This model was modified in order to make it in accord with the experimental results,and a new model was presented in this paper.The linear packing density model and the modified model were compared, which showed that the modified model was accordant with the experimental data well.Fartheremore,several powder particles packing models were described in brief in this paper.
