Three Representations" Thought and Communist Party's Construction in Institutions of Higher Learning

高校是中国先进社会生产力的重要源泉 ,是中国先进文化的生产者和推动器 ,与中国最广大人民群众的根本利益息息相关。因此 ,高校党委要把贯彻、落实江泽民同志“三个代表”重要思想作为加强高校党的建设 ,办好高等学校的关键来抓。要紧密结合高校实际 ,着眼大局 ,理解内涵 ,明确定位 ;遵守规范 ,把握导向 ;抓好基础 ,持之以恒 ;勇于校正 ,自觉防范。

Institutions of higher learning are the crucial source of advanced social productive force in China and they are the producers and propellers of advand Chinese culture,which are closely related to the people's fundamental benefits.Therefore,the Communist Party Committee in colleges and univeristies should carry out Comrade Jiang Ze min's important thought of 'three representations' as the key to reinforcing its coustruction and improving higher education.It is essential for us to have the overall situation in mind,to understand its connotation and clarify the orientation combining the theory with the reality of institutions of higher learning.Furthermore,we should abide by the regulations,persist in the correct direction,and perseveringly lay a solid foundation as well as have the courage to correct our mistakes and conscientiously guard against them.
