Asurvey on Cooperative Medical Services of Rural Areas in Kaifeng and Lin County

农村合作医疗确实减轻了农民的经济负担,基本消除了农民因病致贫、因病返穷现象。但是,农村合作医疗由于缺乏集体经济基础、缺乏政策支持和法律保障,目前,这一“民心工程”在我国县级普及率只有10％左右。

The rural cooperative medical services is loved by rural people, because it has relieved their diseases burden. But there are still many problems in this system. For example: short of collective economy basis; on govern supporting; no protecting of law etc. So the rural cooperative medical system is not widely performed.
