The paper intridnce the principle of voltage translation with bus switch. Systems using multiple VCC levels have become commonplace in today's marketplace creating a need for components that interface between devices operating at multiple levels. Bus switches have gained wide acceptance in this voltage translation application due to negligible propagation delay (tPD 250ps) and minimal power dissipation (ICC 10A).
