断裂发育分形特征的进一步探讨

Further comments on the fractal characteristics of fault development

本文依据分形几何学,进一步探讨了断裂的平面分布,特别是断裂带的几何特征。对自然界断裂发育的等距性、断裂深度分布、位移分布规律进行了研究。结论表明,对于工程上关心的断裂尺度特征,实质上是一个分形结构。

Based on fractal geometry, this paper further comments on the planar distribution of faults, especially the geometric characteristics of the fault zone. It studies on the equidistant property of fault development, their depth distribution and the laws of displacement. It concludes that, the fault dimension characteristic, as concerned in engineering circles, is substantially a fractal structure.
