Abstract It introduces the selection of bulkhead structure types which is most suitable for the widening and renovation of Lujiangdao Road by elaborating the existing bulkhead structure type, building history and lessons learned, requirement of landscape of near bank, geological conditions of Lujiangdao Road and the feasibility of construction, etc.
