Abstract It introduces application of combined consolidation method through bagged sand well and heavy hamming for soft foundation of a storage yard and method of evaluating consolidation effect through original location measurement and loading test,which provides profitable experience and reference for soft foundation treatment of the Pearl Delta in applying heavy hamming technique.
