南海谱岛潮汐特征的初步分析

PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF TIDAL CHARACTERISTICS ON THE ISLANDS IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA

关于南海潮汐特征的探讨,国内外都有一些学者发表过他们的研究成果。对于南海潮波的传播、无潮点的位置、潮汐性质和潮差的分布等有些共同的看法,但也存在不同的观点。而对于南海诸岛的潮汐特征,在现有的文献中,我们还没看到这方面的较为详细的介绍。本文主要从英国海军部一九八六年的潮汐表中,选用了380多个站的潮汐调和常数。

The tidal propagation behavior and the tidal characteristics on the islands in the South China Sea are discribed and discussed in this paper. The results show that the propagating wave is dominant with a quite quick wave speed in most area of the South China Sea. There is a weak S_2 tide area near the Dongsha Islands. The entering of oceanic tidal wave through the straits at the Philippine Islands area affects the tidal pattern in the south east South China Sea in certain degree and makes the cotidal lines turn back to the north. It is basicly mixed diurnal tide on those islands scattering in deep water area with the most possible tidal range of 2m or so. The shallow water effect and seasonal reduction can be neglected. In addition to the harmonics constants of more than 380 stations taken from the 1986 Admiralty Tide Table results from oceanographic observations in recent years are used to plot the co-tidal charts (diurnal, semi-diurnal and M_2, S_2, K_1, O_1) in the South China Sea. owing to the utilization of new data it is believed that the tidal pattern in the deep water area will be more realistic than before.
