摘要 VOD(video on demand)systems and other multimedia applications generally have high QoS requirements,but most of networks that now exist can't provide QoS guarantee. Due to this fact,distributed multimedia systems must have QoS management mechanism themselves. In this paper,we propose a QoS management scheme for VOD systems in IP environment. The architecture and implementation issues of the scheme are also discussed.
