屠钓之禁形成的原因及影响

CAUSE AND INFLUENCE ON FORMATION OF PROHIBITION OF SLAUGHTERING AND FISHING

屠钓之禁是中国古老的一种社会禁制。它规定天下在某一时间或某一段时间不 得屠宰牲畜、采捕鱼鳖、弹射飞鸟。屠钓之禁的形成，既是古代社会持续发展的必 然，又有宗教、禁忌等人为原因。因此，屠钓之禁对中国古代社会的影响也是双重 的。

The prohibition of slaughtering and fishing was an important social system in the ancient China, which prohibited the people to slaughter annimals,hunt for fishes and softshelled turtles,and shoot birds sometime or during a period .The system was formed owing to both the ancient low production forces and religions、taboos、patent policies and other reasons.Since the pre-Qin,the prohibition had given the ancient China a twofold influence,that is to say ,it was not only profitable to the development of the societies but also destructive to the ancient economic and social habitations.
